The Therapeutic Forest

The Therapeutic Forest CIC are a not for profit organisation founded by a team of therapists. Specifically specialising in working with children who have difficulty accessing outdoor experiences. Having previously worked with sister company Twinkleboost CIC, we created promotional marketing materials such as print design and digital assets to market their therapeutic skills training programme and online courses to a wider audience.

The print design and digital assets was designed to attract more interest and enrolments in their offerings. Targeting people who aspire to work outdoors with children who have additional needs.

What stood out to us was the fact that the Therapeutic Forest team offer a wide range of courses. Offering both online and in-person courses for adults, children and young people.

With courses in nature photography, outdoor yoga and woodcraft for wellbeing, the marketing materials and digital assets needed to appeal to a wider audience.

However with just the logo to work from, we looked at how we could position the brand to appeal to both adults and children.

Taking inspiration from the outdoors, we created a colour palette that would capture the beauty of nature and reflect the companies values. Selecting a complementary colour palette of green, dark and light blue and brown that would allow a variation across application.

Meticulous thought was taken on choosing stock imagery that would pair well with the photos taken at live outdoor sessions. We chose a new sans serif typeface that would be easy to read and give a contemporary feel.

Looking to make sure the typeface would complement the logo. The brand would then work cohesively across both print and digital touch points.
