As part of an in-house design studio I designed editorial layouts for the fashion industry’s essential business titles. These titles include Womenswear Buyer, Menswear Buyer, Childrenswear Buyer, Lingerie Buyer and Footwear & Fashion Extras magazine. Each title published up to 11 times a year and covering up to 7,000 retailers, buyers, manufacturers, agents and suppliers.
Designing the essential magazines for the fashion industry
With 70% readership in the UK, the design of the magazine titles needed to appeal to owners of independents and department stores across the UK and Europe. Ths template for each magazine was based on a 12 column grid. This allowed the flexibility to design the layouts for each title with complete creative freedom.
