Mahi Naturals source the best natural skincare, haircare and beauty products from around the world. With a mission to find products with natural ingredients and proven benefits for the skin. Looking to avoid products such as paragons and artificial fragrances that can be harmful to the skin. Mahi Naturals approached us to help promote the brands they stock to a wider audience through creative design.

We kicked off the project with detailed research into each and every brand that Mahi Naturals stocks. Taking at look at their website to find a wide range of products they sell such as shampoo, toothpaste, lip balms, moisturising lotion and hair brushes.

We found that each brand had got their own unique identity and already had marketing materials in place. We knew from this point we could be very creative with the material. To begin the project, we looked at BioKap, a brand that use 100% natural and vegan ingredients in their products.

They produce products such as natural hair dyes, shampoo/conditioners and touch-up sprays. We followed their brand guidelines document, pairing strong photography with beautiful typography and bold colours.

Giving BioKap a strong identity across adverts, leaflets, posters, web banners and social media content. Through creative design, BioKap has appealed to a much wider audience.

MEGHNA – MAHI NATURALS

The second brand that required marketing materials was Mahi Natural’s own brand – SkinWorks. The range of products have been created with the aim to make visible improvements to everyday skin concerns. These include a superfood facial oil, multivitamin face cream and a multivitamin serum.

With the SkinWorks logo and colour palette already in place, we looked at the typography. Looking to see which typefaces would pair well with the logo and more importantly appeal to their target audience.

We paired stock photography with a modern sans-serif to create a premium look, rolling it out across leaflets, postcards and social media assets. Through creative design, SkinWorks was able to reach their target audience.
