Brochure design and branding for a leading wedding venue in Cyprus

Nestled in the peaceful hills of Paphos, family-owned Vasilias Nikoklis Inn is one of the most popular wedding venues in Cyprus. Set in the Cypriot countryside with over 100 years of history, Vasilias is available for exclusive use, perfect for private and bespoke intimate weddings. They offer packages to fit any theme or wedding needs. Expertly co-ordinated by a team of experienced and knowledgable wedding specialists.

We were approached by Vasilias to create print and digital marketing materials which included brochure design, flyers, adverts and price lists. They needed to appeal to and attract couples looking for their ideal wedding destination in Cyprus.

We kicked the project off by researching all about Vasilias and what they have to offer. Equally as important, we did in-depth research of the wedding industry as a whole. Especially looking at how colours and typography are used.

We knew straight off that the marketing materials such as brochure design needed to reflect the beautiful, intimate traditional surroundings of Vasilias. Therefore showcasing the authentic Mediterranean menus, detail the bespoke wedding packages and communicate the experience on offer.

The primary logo along with the hero turquoise colour was already well recognised. Therefore we looked at creating a second colour palette. Looking at tones of bright pink to complement the turquoise.

This would complement the hero colour and give a more intimate and luxurious look. Specifically selecting typography that is clean and legible, pairing an easy reading sans serif with a beautiful hand written font.

Creating visually stunning layouts using beautiful photography

We were provided with stunning photos of weddings previously taken place at Vasilias. All the photos were taken and provided by Cyprus based Photo7 Studio. Therefore we were able create the likes of brochures, adverts and flyers based around the great photography.
